Today we are setting off across the Nullarbor, perhaps Australia’s most famous highway and named due it being a ‘treeless’ plain which runs between Ceduna in South Australia (point G on the map below), and Eucla┬áin Western Australia (point I).

The first town we came across was Penong, famous for its windmills.

Our campsite the first night, right on the edge of the drop off at the Great Australian Bight.

Right in the middle of the Nullarbor the fuel warning light came on – luckily we had a spare fuel filter and it’s a pretty simple job to put a new one in. Must of picked up some dirty fuel somewhere – the new filter on the left and old filter on the right.
